Hoko Tate!...Aaryanna

Aaryanna Williams, after having a stellar 2012 season was given a wonderful opportunity to participate in a Japanese reality TV show. Hoko Tate, one of Japans premier shows recruited 4 of the fastest 11 year old girls from the USATF Youth Outdoor Championships (held at UT-Arlington), to compete in a 4x100m Relay race against the best 45 year old women that Japan had to offer. The quadruple consisted of two young ladies from the DFW area and two from the Los Angeles area. The event was held November 16-18th at Culver City College near Los Angeles, California. After a day of interviews and press, the ladies ran a fantastic race against some formidable ladies, and phenomenal athletes! It was a close race, but the girls did win! It was truly the experience of a lifetime!
